Your views are not of those in Islam, rather, they are pure kufr. It doesn’t take an ‘Alim to realize it either. Therefore, as Muslims, we are obligated to refute you, and silence your sick views on Islam. “Moderate Muslims” Refuted ( www.moderatesrefuted.wordpress.com) was made precisely for people like you, and al-Hamdu ‘lillah in the past we have cut the tongues of others like you (Kamal Nawash is a perfect example).
If you do not accept our challenge, then, you should not be giving out your own interpretations of Islam. Also, we would be more then glad to book fully refuting your book, and im sure there are many publishing companies who would love to publish it.
The topic will be;
Islam & Democracy

Are you from HT bro?
Anyways i reckon publishing a book refuting Eddy’s “The Islamist” is a wicked idea!
Do you believe Ed t be a moderate? so ex-’islamists’ become moderates?
interesting!

Im not HT.
Instead of refuting the book itself, since it’s mainly a biography, we will refute his stance on Islam.
well, he is labeled as a “moderate”. So I guess thats enough reason for him to fall victim to our site, insha ‘Allah we will rip him apart.
Comment by abutalhah October 31, 2007 @ 2:53 amSalaam,
i just wanted to ask what do you mean by yourself being moderate muslims? This idea was not around during the time of the prophet pbub, where has it been created from?
Salaam
Comment by Omeha January 9, 2008 @ 2:25 pmwa ‘Alaaykum as-Salaam,
Being moderate, means you are neither negligent, nor extreme. These people (that we refute) are only labeled as “moderate” but are actually both negligent in the deen, and extreme in their ‘Jahl. So, point is, we only call them “moderates” so the people can know who we are referring too.
Comment by abutalhah January 9, 2008 @ 9:09 pmbut doesn’t the word moderate mean part of…its kind of like what yvonne ridley said..”how can you be moderately muslim is it possible for a woman to be moderately pregnant”
Comment by Omeha-Sania January 11, 2008 @ 9:42 pmand would u please define the term extreme as there can be many definitions for the word.
Salaam
As I said, all it means is we do not practice Islam in a negligent way, nor in an extreme way.
Comment by abutalhah January 11, 2008 @ 11:07 pmBy moderate, it doesn’t mean that we practice islam “moderately” as in not fully, quite the opposite since we try to follow it fully. Therefore one who does NOT practice Islam fully (i.e Islam minus Politics)then he is negligent in the deen, not moderate.
im sorri but i did not understand anything you said to me… this might be because im very young in age..please can u explain it to me with more simplicity..jazaak-allah
Comment by Omeha January 14, 2008 @ 8:26 pmMODERATE, the lame excuse to knock on the door of kufr. Most of the time you have difficulty in identifying the Kuffar and the moderate muslim if you dont have the name tag. So called moderates simply aint happy with the divine rules.
